Years in the Making 2025 - Filmmakers assembly

What an interesting Birthday... I didn't throw a party and I think, for the most part that was the best desicion. I planned a small gathering with the people that I wanted to collaborate with the most and the people that wanted to collaborate with me. Recently i've been meaning to work on more action. I want to make more content that has stunts in it. I guess I have this thing about being a superhero, or at the very least, having super powers.

Anyway! I GATHER EVERYONE!! Everyone that I considered to be of value for my journey! You know, the one i'm very patiently carving from the ether... A handful of people showed up. One in person and the others over zoom. The elusive Kisha was there for me every step of the way. She helped me brain storm my idea and set up the zoom meeting so everyone would be on the same page.

The assembly went well. I was able to express my vision and relay why I had gathered folks there. My goal with this new season in life; is to asseble a team of interested filmmakers, for the purpose of creating marketable action video content on a consistant basis. Kinda like what a production company does. My approach being a little different.

A number of production companies will wait for a client to come to them or will seek out new clients via "Cold Methods". Cold meaning, they didnt really know this client or have any real connection with them prior to reaching out. They do this in hopes that the prospect will have a real need for their production services. At which point they can offer them one of the many "budget friendly" packages they have available. But what if there was another way?

During my Filmmakers Assembly, I went into details as to how we could change things up. In summery: I spoke about how we should be creating action content left and right with a single vision in mind. A handful of filmmaker to envision the way, and as many willing filmmakers as we can get to follow the path. It's like when you know winter is coming so you start pulling out all the stored ugly sweaters, Christmas decorations, and whatever else you may need to prepare for the season ahead. Similarly, I'd like to prepare for the film seasons ahead.

If my birthday was an intertesting day, I suspect these months that follow will be something as well. As the assembly came to a close, we spoke about the actionable steps we would take to turn this concept or idea into a real thing. I realize that I have my work cut out and it's no joke, but I'm also extremely excited and thankful for the support I've received thus far.
